UAF CGPA Formula
- UAF uses the official LMS grading policy with linear interpolation between grade boundaries.
- Marks ≥ 80 → 4.00. Below 40 is a fail (F = 0.00).
- Fractional GPA is calculated as: GPA = 4 − 3 × (80 − marks) / 40 for marks between 40 and 80.
- UAF is one of the few Pakistani universities that does not use the A-/B+/C+ letter ladder — its scale runs in whole points (4, 3, 2, 1).

What is the pass mark at UAF?+

Why is my LMS UAF CGPA different from my manual calculation?+
UAF computes fractional grade points by linear interpolation inside each grade band (e.g. 72% ≈ 3.35, not a flat 3.00). If you used flat whole points by hand, your result will differ slightly from the LMS transcript.
Does UAF use A-, B+ or other letter grades?+
No. UAF's official scale is A (4.00), B (3.00), C (2.00), D (1.00) and F (0.00) with interpolation in between. It does not use the A-/B+/C+ sub-grades common at COMSATS or UMT.
